God Conceals to His Glory

Proverbs 25:2

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.

Reference 1: Deuteronomy29:29

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all of the words of this law.

Reference 2: Romans 11:33

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (insrutable, unsearchable) as His judgments (His decisions)! And how untreaceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)!

Praise God!

God does not reveal all things. He hides and reveals to His glroy and to our benefit.

What He has hidden or chosen to hide is by His love and wisdom meant for us.
What He has revealed or chosen to reveal is for our trust and obediance to Him.

It is to the glory of God (It is His glory) to hide and reveal things.

Our glory is is 'doing' all of His word (Deut. 29:29) - His will, His instruction, His desire for us which He has chosen to reveal.
As we do what He has revealed, we progress on His path (Romans 11:33) - and eventually search out His will (Proverbs 25:2).

=> Focus on God's current and revealed will (instruction).
=> Trust Him for what is hidden and obey what is revealed.

Attempting to search out His will, His ways and His decisions first - without first obeying His revealed will - is folly.
What He has hidden is better hidden till He desires it to be so - for our benefit.
It is anyway unfathomable, undiscoverable, and mysterious.
It is His glory to hide it.
My glory is to trust Him, obey Him and search out His will.

Thank you, Jesus.
