Exceedingly & Abundantly

Image
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think , according to the power that worketh in us , 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen Ephesians 3:20 As I proclaimed this verse in prayer, a picture arose in my front of my closed eyes. God Holy Spirit, in His own unique way, showed me what He meant by this verse. I spoke ' exceedingly ' and saw someone lift up, cupping both their hands, something off the ground. I spoke ' abundantly ' and saw him spread his arms out wide. 'Exceeding' means increasing beyond expectation. Abundant means more than sufficient. Yes, God is able to do such feats as this - beyond our highest expectation and more than what we'd ever need. Not only He's able to do it, He's done it already in Jesus Christ, and thru Him on the cross. Exceedingly Abundant was the sacrifice on the cross. Exceedingly Abundant is His grace. Exceedingly A

By the Pool of Bethsaida

Image
1 After this there was a Jewish feast, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool called Bethzatha in Aramaic, which has five covered walkways. 3 A great number of sick, blind, lame, and paralyzed people were lying in these walkways. 4 For an angel  went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had 5 Now a man was there who had been disabled for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and when he realized that the man had been disabled a long time already, he said to him, “Do you want to become well?” 7 The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up. While I am trying to get into the water, someone else goes down there before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Stand up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 Immediately the man was healed, and he picked up his mat and st

Visit to an Old Fort

Image
Recently, I took myself a vacation and went to Jaipur. The Amer Fort in Jaipur is one of the highlights in the city. It belongs to the Mughal era in India and was built by Mansingh, the then ruler of the city. The tour guide told us that Jaipur was built a strong fort in anticipation of any wars that may take place, but has retained its beauty as Jaipur was never attacked. There are many doors and many courts. The king had many queens and each had a quarter of her own inside the palace. There was a court of commons and a court for lords of the city. The daughter of this family was married into the Muhgal family to one of the Mughal kings, Akbar, therefore the detailing and design intricacies include patterns suited to both cultures. In some places, the colors are still very rich and beautiful. There was even a bed, an original bed hundreds of years old, that once belonged to the queen who sat on the throne. Now, it was in tatters, held up by some stones. [You can view some pictures fro
